Hanoi to have new US$40 million resort

The Khanh Hoa Trade and Investment Company, under the Six Senses Group from Thailand is designing and building a high-end five-star resort in Hanoi, said its President Ms Le Thi Thu Lan.

Accordingly, the resort named the Ana Mandara Villas in Hanoi, will be built on a 20 hectares site in Van Tri Commune, Dong Anh District, with capital of 40 million USD

The resort is expected to be finished by 2010 to coincide with the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long and Hanoi

At present, the Khanh Hoa Trade and Investment Company has three high-end resorts in operation, namely, the Evason Ana Mandara, the Evason Hideway in Nha Trang, and the Evason Ana Mandara Villas in Dalat. They have a modern architectural design and are priced at between 120 USD to 500 USD per day.

The guests mainly come from Germany, the UK, Australia, and Japan. The company is also focusing on other markets such as the Republic of Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia.
