Hanoi – Pu Luong (Hang village)
|
|
After breakfast, we’ll depart Hanoi for Pu Luong Natural Reserve. This scenic drive takes around four hours. Enjoy our lunch break in Mai Chau, then drive further into the reserve where we begin our trek to the Thai village of Hang. We’ll spend the night with a local Thai family who will be our hosts in a traditional house built on stilts. Whilst enjoying their hospitality we will discover a little more about their lives and culture

Pu Luong (Hang village - Kho Muong village)
|
|
This morning we have the opportunity to stroll around Hang village before we start trekking. Today we will be walking for approximately six hours. The trekking route today is off the beaten track, among the rice terraces, pass through several Thai villages and hamlets. The trek is moderate - but worth the efforts for the scenery. We have our picnic lunch on the way and take a rest before embark on the most beautiful path to the village of Kho Muong. In the afternoon you can discover Kho Muong by foot or chatting with our hosts as they prepare our dinner. Home stay for the night

Pu Luong (Kho Muong - Hin village)
|
|
This morning, we’ll set out from Kho Muong and trek for roughly three hours on an uphill gradient through a picturesque forest passing several villages along the way. The mountain hiking can be considered as hard trek. When you reach the mountain side you will get the great view of Kho Muong valley. We’ll break for lunch at Nua village before setting off again for a further two hours to Hin village

We leave Hin village and catch a motorcycle taxi for a short ride to La Han ferry where our vehicle pick us back to Hanoi
|
