Opened in July 2003, the four-star Vinh Hung Resort is located along the banks of the Thu Bon River, just 5 minutes from the city center of Hoi An.
The resort offers a wide range of recreational and business facilities including spa and massage services, a swimming pool, a fitness center, a tennis/badminton court, a disco nightclub, and a restaurant and outdoor bar on the river.
Location
Vinh Hung Resort is a 5-minute walk from the center of Hoi An’s Ancient Town. It is 4km from Cua Dai Beach, 35 km/50 minutes by bus from Da Nang Railway Station and Da Nang International Airport, and 55 km from the My Son cultural heritage site.

The Vinh Hung Resort is one
of few resorts located within walking distance of Hoi An’s Ancient Town. It is part of the Vinh Hung brand name that
also offers the historical Vinh Hung I Hotel and the new and smart Vinh Hung II
Hotel.
This is a good value resort
for travelers who are looking for spacious grounds at a reasonable price. There is a well-sized pool with a so-so
finish in the middle of the building complex and a smaller secondary pool that
affords a bit more privacy. There is
also a tennis court and a very small and sort of strange outdoor fitness area.
The rooms are clean and
well-lit, with decently comfortable beds and very good water pressure in the
showers. Some rooms overlook a nice,
wide part of the Thu
Bon River.
Two hotel boats shuttle
guests from the Resort to the Ancient
Town (a 5-10 minute walk
over land), and the hotel also offers a floating restaurant. A buffet breakfast is included in the room
rate.
The hotel often undergoes
minor renovations during the off-season to continue to improve its facilities.
