With zig-zag facade and "stepped" architecture, the 20-storey hotel is a recognized landmark of Hanoi’s skyline.

Fitness Center - In addition to the gymnasium, the finess center offers an indoor/outdoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, massage, sauna, and exercise classes.
Sofitel Club - Dedicated executive floors for the business travellers. Exclusive Club Lounge on the 17th floor with wireless Internet hotspots.
Sofitel Serviced Apartments - Comforts and ambience of home with full services and facilities of a hotel, ideal for business executives and families on extended stay. Elegantly furnished, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances and amenities. Available in 1 or 2 bedroom configuration.

The hotel's location in Hanoi's West Lake district is its biggest downfall: it's quite a ways from the Old Quarter and the other attractions in the surrounding area. However, a five-minute scooter or taxi ride will put you into the thick of the action.
On the plus side, you're only a quick walk from the on-the-water restaurants, bars, and cafes lining West Lake. The Western-style rooms are modern and average sized. |
