The resort features 15 bungalows with a total of 60 rooms and villas, decorated in a choice of traditional Vietnamese or Japanese styles with decorative antiques in each room.

This is a well put-together
resort situated very nicely on the banks of the Song Do River. The resort definitely takes advantage of the
location; two restaurants and the well-sized and designed pool have superb
river views; a welcome drink is served at a bar that also overlooks the river
(the welcome drink is non-alcoholic). At
7pm every night, floating lanterns are placed upstream and romantically laze
their way down the river to the delight of hotel guests. The resort is also well-manicured, with lush
plants, grass, and trees providing a green backdrop for an assortment of
colorful flowers.
All rooms have balconies and
nice marble bathrooms, though most do not have bathtubs. The shower pressure is
a little weaker than would be expected, and the beds are similarly less
comfortable than one might expect from a resort of this caliber. The rooms are well-decorated.
The staff speaks good
English and is very helpful. The cramped
and ugly fitness room is not pleasant, but it does provide a good range of free
weights. The hotel also provides a free 10-minute foot massage for all guests.
The Hoi An Riverside Resort
is located about 3km from the Ancient
Town and 1km from Cua Dai
beach. Shuttles are provided several
times a day to each destination, and most guests take them, as the roads both
to town and to the beach are not particularly pleasant to walk along.
